Plumber with a tablet in hand, discussing work with a homeowner in a kitchen

This site is operated by HouseWorks Plumbing & Gas, ABN 74 613 553 665, trading for this site as Kardinya Water Filters. Plumbing Licence 8396 and Gas Licence 13098.

How to raise it

Ring the number on this site, or send the form on the contact page and say what the problem is.

It helps to have the address the work was done at, roughly when it was done, and what is happening now. That is enough — you do not need to work out what caused it.

What we do

We will get back to you and arrange a time to come and look. Monday to Friday, 7:00am to 4:00pm.

If something we installed or serviced is not performing as it should, we come back to it. Customer satisfaction guaranteed is our promise, and this is where it is actually tested.

If the problem turns out to be something else — a fault the filter was never going to fix, or a separate issue elsewhere in the plumbing — we will tell you that plainly and explain why, rather than leave you guessing.

If you are not satisfied with our response

You are entitled to take it further. In Western Australia, plumbing work is regulated by the Building and Energy division of the Department of Energy, Mines, Industry Regulation and Safety, and consumer matters can be raised with Consumer Protection in the same department. Both publish their own contact details and complaints processes.

Nothing on this page limits your rights under Australian Consumer Law.

A note on reviews

If you were happy with the work, tell people. If you were not, tell us first — a problem we do not know about is a problem we cannot fix.
