The Samson job
Samson is small, green and quiet — Samson Park, on its doorstep, is the largest bush reserve in the City of Fremantle — and it is a short run from us either way.
Most of what we do here is the drinking-water end of the work: an under-sink cartridge unit in the kitchen cupboard, usually paired with a dedicated filtered tap so the filter is not doing work every time somebody rinses a plate. Whole-house is the other half. A detached house on its own block with access down a boundary is the arrangement a whole-house filter wants — the unit goes in at the point the water enters the property, with room to mount housings, clearance to drop the bowls at service time, and a bypass built in so a cartridge change is not a whole-house shutdown. One thing worth raising here rather than leaving unsaid. Living on the edge of bushland does not change your water supply — what comes out of the tap is the same treated scheme water that arrives everywhere else. If you are getting sediment or grit at a tap, that is worth a look on its own merits rather than being assumed to be a filtration problem. Tell us what you are actually seeing when you ring and the plumber will tell you on site whether a filter is the right tool for it or whether it is not.
